About Chris

Owner and Managing Director of Tactical Ability Group.

I am a senior executive with nearly 20 years’ experience leading enterprise risk management, quality assurance, compliance, safeguarding, investigations, audit and continuous improvement across highly regulated environments, including the NDIS, child‑safe services, not‑for‑profit and NSW public sector.

I transition organisations from reactive compliance to proactive, risk‑based assurance, embedding robust governance systems that protect vulnerable people while strengthening organisational integrity, sustainability and regulatory confidence. Having held executive leadership roles at Chief Operating Officer level, I am a trusted adviser to Boards, CEOs, Audit and Risk Committees and regulators.

My career has been defined by a commitment to safeguarding children, people with disability and other vulnerable members of the community through ethical leadership, sound judgement and evidence‑based decision‑making. I have led complex internal and external investigations, overseen large‑scale audits, redesigned complaint and incident management systems, and guided organisations through periods of regulatory scrutiny and organisational adversity.

I demonstrate deep expertise in NDIS Practice Standards, NSW Child Safe Standards, governance and risk frameworks, and the practical application of complex legislative and regulatory requirements. I’m known for calm, credible presence under pressure, ability to provide frank and fearless advice, and building cultures of accountability, trust and continuous improvement rather than compliance for compliance’s sake.

I hold qualifications in governance, auditing, investigations and public safety, am an NDIS Approved Quality Auditor, and maintain all mandatory safeguarding and screening clearances. I’m values‑driven, culturally responsive, and strongly committed to protecting public trust while enabling organisations to deliver safe, person‑centred services with confidence.
